Deleting the Product
To delete a product, click Delete Product.
Because this button does exactly what it says, you will be asked to confirm the deletion before the product is removed.
Once the product is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
What Gets Deleted
Deleting a product removes the product from the store and also deletes all of its variants.
This includes:
- Variant combinations
- Variant pricing
- Variant inventory
- Images connected to variants
- Variant-level weight and dimensions
- Variant visibility settings
In other words, deleting the product deletes the product. Thoroughly.
Warning: Deleted products cannot be recovered. If you only want customers to stop seeing a product, consider hiding it instead of deleting it.
